Skyryse (USA) has achieved the first automated autorotation landing by rotorcraft, something that could drastically reduce the number of fatalities in aircraft crashes. The technology has created a fully automated emergency landing procedure that takes the pressure off the pilot to land an aircraft safely when the engines fail. Explaining the procedure, pilots from the Los Angeles-based company said when a helicopter’s engine fails, the pilot must perform a complex series of actions to land safely on the ground. A total of 971 children in Mexico got a chance to test their maker skills at the Talent Land event in Guadalajara, Mexico, by participating the world’s Largest robotics lesson.
