ভারত-পাকিস্তান ইস্যুতে যখন উত্তপ্ত গোটা উপমহাদেশ ঠিক সেই সময়ে বাংলাদেশের তিস্তার ব্যারেজের ঠিক ওপারেই তিস্তা অববাহিকার ফিল্ড ফায়ারিং রেঞ্জে আয়োজন করলো বিশাল এক সেনা মহড়ার। তিস্তা ব্যরেজ ও ভারতের সবচেয়ে স্পর্শকাতর স্থান চিকেন নেক এর মধ্যবর্তী অববাহিকায় ভারত “তিস্তা প্রহার” নামে ব্যাপক সামরিক মহড়ার আয়োজন করে দেশটি।
