10 sluice gates open at Vaal Dam
Residents along the Vaal River flood line in the Matlo-sana Local Municipality in Klerksdorp, North West are under a new evacuation warning. The urgent alert follows the opening of a 10th sluice gate at Vaal Dam, which currently stands at 120% capacity, exacerbating flooding along the riverbanks.
