21-year-old Labor candidate on track for Senate win
A Labor candidate for the Senate may be getting her birthday wish as she is on track to claim the final seat.
Charlotte Walker turned 21 on election night on Saturday and was preselected for the third spot on Labor’s South Australia Senate ticket.
Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong is welcoming the potential appointment, saying parliament is best when representing all Australians, including young people.
