4 pedestrians injured in downtown Toronto hit-and-run
Four pedestrians were injured after paramedics say they were hit by a driver on the campus of a downtown Toronto university on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened on Nelson Mandela Walk at Toronto Metropolitan University, near Yonge Street and Gerrard Street East.
Police said they were called to that area just before 2 p.m.
There, officers located four pedestrians with reported injuries. Police said two of the victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
