80 years after WWII, global conflicts raise fears of third world war
Eighty years after Victory in Europe Day, which marked the formal surrender of the Nazis during the Second World War, and the end of six years of war, many fear a third world war is imminent.
As a new conflict arises in South Asia, people around the world are becoming increasingly concerned.
With several regions playing witness to conflict and Canada’s relationship with the U.S. shifting, experts say the newly elected government will have to put renewed focus on defence and security.
