Africa for Palestine I SARHC lodge complaint against SAFA, SAPS: Alie Komape
Following the laying of criminal charges, Africa for Palestine and Polokwane for Palestine have lodged a complaint with the South African Human Rights Council against SAFA and the SAPS over the alleged unjust arrest, excessive use of force, and violation of the constitutional rights of five human rights advocates, dubbed the Loftus 5.
The arrests occurred during a peaceful solidarity activity at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on 11 May 2025.
