The month of May commemorates the establishing of Organisation of African Unity in 1963 and is recognised as Africa month across the continent.
We cannot speak of Africa month and not speak of former president Thabo Mbeki, in commemoration of Mbeki’s “I am an African” speech, delivered on the 8th of May 1996 on the occasion of parliament’s adoption of this country’s constitution.
To discuss more on this issue we are now joined in studio by Victor Kgomoeswana, Marketing and Communication Executive Director from University of Limpopo and virtually we have Lerato Tsebe who is an independent African Researcher.
