Africa Rail Conference | Public-private partnerships will be crucial: Barbara Creecy
Transport Minister Barbara Creecy says government has received overwhelming response from the private sector invited to invest in the country’s rail infrastructure. In March, Creecy launched an online request proposal from the private sector interested in participation and investment in rail and port infrastructure and operations. She says as a result of the huge interest they’ve now extended the deadline of online platform on investments in the country’s rail logistics. The Minister delivered a keynote address at the 25th Africa Rail Conference in Sandton Johannesburg taking South Africa’s railway plan to the gathering.
