‘All up in the air’: Zelensky to wait for Putin in Turkey this week for peace talks
Sky News contributor Sophie Elsworth claims she doesn’t think Ukraine and Russia will reach a ceasefire.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will travel to Turkey this week, where he will wait for Russian leader Vladimir Putin for potential peace talks.
“I don’t think they’ll reach a ceasefire, it’s not looking like they will – however, President Donald Trump has said if Zelensky and Putin do meet this week, he may well come along,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News Australia.
“It’s all up in the air, but yes, it would be a good thing, surely, if the three of them got in the room together.”
