An ‘asset’: Andrew Hastie would be ‘great’ as the next Opposition leader
Sky News host James Morrow says Shadow Defence Minister Andrew Hastie should have been a “great asset” to the Coalition’s campaign.
“Andrew Hastie should have been one of the great assets of this campaign,” Mr Morrow said.
“They novelled all sorts of great advocates … Andrew Hastie, Jacinta Price was not allowed out, Barnaby Joyce is very popular in the regions, was basically, you know, kept locked in his electorate in northern NSW.
“The Coalition, the Liberals let Labor move to the right of them on tax cuts … what sort of insanity is that?
“Andrew Hastie would be great.”
