ANC President, Cyril Ramaphosa says the beauty of South Africa is its diversity and no one has to run away from this country. A group of 49 white Afrikaners arrived in the US recently after being granted refugee status by US President Donald Trump’s administration. This after South Africa was accused of seizing land from white farmers without compensation. Trump and his close ally, South Africa-born Elon Musk, have said there was a “genocide” of white farmers in South Africa – a claim that has been widely discredited. Ramaphosa has been speaking at Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre in Kimberley, Northern Cape for the Provincial Executive Committee Induction.
