Anthony Albanese to attend Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has confirmed he will attend the Pope’s inauguration at the Vatican this weekend.
The event is shaping up to be a diplomatic opportunity to kick-start trade negotiations.
Mr Albanese has indicated world leaders are reaching out to organise meetings on the side.
He couldn’t confirm if US President Donald Trump will be in attendance.
