AOC and Cory Booker plead for MS-13 gang member to come back to US
Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer has blasted Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Cory Booker for pleading for an alleged MS-13 gang member to be returned to the United States by El Salvador.
Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen has travelled to El Salvador to push for the release of alleged MS-13 gang member Kilmer Abrego Garcia.
“The Democratic Party, right now, is siding with gang members. Those are not disputable facts,” Mr Spicer told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“The bottom line is when members of Congress like Chris Van Hollen or Cory Booker of New Jersey start pleading – or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez – for them to come back, you have to question whether or not they are more worried about the rights of people breaking the law in this country than they are of citizens of this country.”
