ASX 200 expected to kick off with a gain on Monday
The ASX 200 is expected to kick off on Monday morning with a gain of about 0.4 of a per cent, according to CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski.
“The election at the weekend will be an interesting catalyst because in some quarters, there was a sense that potentially you might be dealing with a minority government,” he told Sky News Australia.
“So, the clear resolution of the political situation could be a further positive, adding to that 0.4 of a per cent improvement this morning.”
