Attack on Sydney bishop 'could have been prevented', former spy says | ABC NEWS
A former ASIO spy is breaking his cover to make explosive claims he warned authorities about a possible attack on a Sydney bishop two years before it happened.
The former agent for Australia’s domestic spy agency is risking jail time to speak out about his work targeting supporters of the Islamic State terrorist group in Sydney.
His warnings are among a series of critical red flags uncovered by Four Corners which were apparently missed in the lead-up to the attack on the bishop.
Sean Rubinsztein-Dunlop has this exclusive report.
