Barbara Creecy on Transport Transformation Fund
Minister of Transport Barbara Creecy says the Taxi industry is the only Black operating business which transports majority of commuters in the country.
Creecy was speaking at the transport sector engagement session on the Transformation Fund in Midrand, Johannesburg today.
She said the main priority for the Fund is to support black owned businesses within the sector.
The initiative aims to address access to funding for majority black-owned businesses.
Trade, Industry and Competition Minister, Parks Tau, together with the minister, engaged relevant stakeholders.
