Biden backs Canada as an independent country 🍁
Assembly of First Nations Chief Cincy Woodhouse Nepinak met former U.S. president Joe Biden while both were at the funeral of Pope Francis on Saturday. Amid U.S. President Donald Trump’s threats to Canadian sovereignty, referring to Canada as the “51st state,” the AFN chief asked Biden if he backed Canada as an independent country.
