Bindi Irwin shares health update from hospital after undergoing emergency surgery
Bindi Irwin has posted an update on her health recovery after she underwent emergency surgery in the US to have her appendix removed.
The conservationist shared details of the operation on her Instagram account.
“I also had 14 new endometriosis lesions that had to be removed, and they kindly stitched up my hernia as well,” she said.
Bindi has been open about her health struggles, publicly revealing her endometriosis diagnosis and subsequent surgery in March 2023.
The 26-year-old was overseas for the annual Steve Irwin Gala and will be missing the event due to the surgery.
