Bloemfontein | Teacher suspended after alleged learner attack

The mother of a 17-year-old learner from Dr. Bohmer School for Skills in Bloemfontein wants justice for her son. That’s after an alleged violent assault, which was captured on a cellphone video and has since gone viral. The video depicts the learner getting violently hit, stomped on and kicked, allegedly by a teacher. The Free State’s Education Department has suspended the teacher, whose disciplinary hearing is set for the 24th of May.
