Bodies of missing police constables identified - Dr Simon Howell weighs in
Bodies of the three missing police officers were positively identified by their family on Tuesday night.
The remains of Constable Keamogetswe Buys, Constable Boipelo Senoge and Constable Cebekhulu Linda were discovered yesterday in the Hennops River in Centurion, Gauteng.
Investigations into their disappearance began six days ago, after they were last seen enroute to Limpopo from Free State to start their deployment. Two other bodies were also found, but police say the discovery is not linked to the case of the officers.
The gruesome discovery has left their families with more questions than answers about their deaths.
To try and make sense of these developments, we are joined virtually by Dr Simon Howell, Senior Researcher at the Centre of Criminology, University of Cape Town.
