Boksburg rape case postponed to next week
The case against a 29-year-old man accused of allegedly raping and impregnating an 11-year-old girl has been postponed to next week Thursday. The Boksburg Magistrates Court further ruled that it will only grant the media permission to record audio and not film the court proceedings of the case. Media organisations including the SABC had applied to broadcast proceedings wherein the 29-year-old was expected to apply for bail. The girl is now four months pregnant after she was allegedly raped by the accused in Boksburg in December last year.
