Bridget McKenzie unable to name cost of Coalition’s nuclear plan
Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has grilled Nationals Senate Leader Bridget McKenzie on the cost of the Coalition’s proposed nuclear energy policy.
This comes as Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has challenged Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to a debate on nuclear power.
When asked how much the plan will cost, Ms McKenzie claimed it will cost 44 per cent cheaper than the Labor Party’s renewables-only approach but failed to name a specific cost.
