Budget 2025 | Third budget being crafted ahead of Wednesday
President Cyril Ramaphosa has assured the nation that it’s all systems go for the national budget due to be presented on Wednesday.
Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana is back to the drawing board, crafting a third budget after the first two attempts failed due to disagreements over the proposed value added tax increase.
The president says the finance minister is putting final touches to the third iteration and will be ready to present the budget on Wednesday.
