Budget I Expectations as Godongwana prepares to table third budget
Ahead of what has been termed Budget 3.0 on Wednesday in Cape Town.
Some political parties are asking if this is the classic ‘third-time lucky’ scenario or if Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana will disappoint.
The first budget speech attempt on the 19th of February was cancelled a few minutes before the address, after coalition partners rejected the proposed VAT hike.
A second version, tabled on the 12th of March, was also rejected by some parties.
