Call to address illegal immigration
An anti-illegal immigration movement in Gauteng marched from Parktown to the provincial legislature in Johannesburg. However, the March-in-March movement could not hand over their memorandum of demands, as the Speaker of the Legislature was not available. But a meeting has since been arranged with the Speaker to address issues of illegal immigration. The organisation says the march was intended to urge government to ensure all those who enter the country do so legally.
