Call to remain focused on SETA mission: Makhi Feni
On the back of controversy surrounding the now rescinded appointments of chairpersons to the sector education and training authorities board, the Select Committee on Education, Science and the Creative Industries has called on the Department of Higher Education and Training not to be defocused.
Chairperson of the committee, Mr Makhi Feni, said ridiculing the entire sector merely based on error in judgment on issues of conflict of interest is unfortunate and unfair.
He expressed full confidence in the ability of the Minister, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane.
