Child complications after corporal punishment allegations
A family in Magogoe village in Mahikeng is demanding answers, after a Grade 2 learner started developing health complications, allegedly due to corporal punishment at Dikakanyo Primary School.
The learner who was still in Grade 1 when the alleged incident happened, is reportedly suffering from a migraine, which is being linked to the incident.
His mother alleges that the boy was hit against a chalk board by a teacher last year.
She says the incident took place on the 8th of July lasy year, but despite multiple complaints to the school, no action has been taken.
