Coalition reveals cuts it will make to fund election promises
The Coalition has reportedly revealed some of the areas it will make cuts to in order to pay for its election promises.
According to the Sunday Age, funding will be taken out of programs designed to build new homes and upgrade Australia’s electricity grid.
The Coalition has promised to prioritise essential services and defence in its costings, which will be released days before the election.
Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor says the Opposition is taking the “hard but responsible decisions” needed to repair the budget.
