The Coalition has unveiled its long-awaited defence policy, promising to boost spending by $21 billion between now and 2030.
Announcing the policy in Perth, Peter Dutton insists more money is needed to protect Australia, with America in retreat and China on the rise.
But the Prime Minister has dismissed the announcement as little more than a press release.
