'Completely illogical': Australia's nuclear ban is 'outdated and out of step'
Nationals Senator Matt Canavan discusses the recent considerations by the Nationals to split from the Coalition and the continuing nuclear energy debate.
“I do think we should use all of our energy resources,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia.
“I absolutely believe the ban on nuclear power stations is outdated and out of step.
“The Australian people have never voted to ban nuclear energy in Australia; never.
“It is completely illogical, especially for a country that has the world’s largest uranium reserves.”
