Court Bars Government shutting or disrupting internet services
The government has been barred from shutting down the internet during protests. The high court in Nairobi has granted conservatory orders sought by a consortium of civil society organizations. The groups argued that the government had violated fundamental constitutional rights by shutting down the internet during the last anti-finance bill demonstrations.
