Dave Sharma admits Coalition needs to do ‘soul searching’ after significant loss
Liberal Senator Dave Sharma has admitted to failing to sell an “alternative vision” to Australians in the federal election.
“We clearly failed to sell an alternative vision for Australia to the voting public,” Mr Sharma said.
“Our policies did not convince the public that we had an incredible alternative vision.
“The size of our loss is historic, the diminishment of our parliamentary wing of our party is massive, there’s no sugar coating that.”
