Dealmaker: Donald Trump praised for successful call with Vladimir Putin
US President Donald Trump was praised after his recent call with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In a post to Truth Social, President Trump detailed a successful call he made with Putin regarding the Ukraine-Russia war.
Stating the call he had with Putin was two hours long, Trump claimed Russia and Ukraine would immediately negotiate towards a ceasefire.
“Just completed my two-hour call with President Vladimir Putin of Russia. I believe it went very well,” Trump said.
“Russia and Ukraine will immediately start negotiations toward a Ceasefire and, more important, an end to the war.”
“The conditions for that will be negotiated between the two parties, as it can only be, because they know details of a negotiation that nobody else would be aware of.”
