The current death toll of under 17s in Gaza is over 16,500, according to the Hamas-run health ministry.
The charity Doctors Without Borders said this week 20 medical facilities have been forced partially or completely out of service due to IDF ground operations, airstrikes and evacuation orders.
The Palestinian Red Crescent has warned the starving and badly injured in Gaza are yet to receive the aid which has finally been allowed in.
After intense international pressure, Israel agreed to allow a “minimal” amount of aid into Gaza, which has been under blockade for several months.
