One of the dishes all foreigners long for is Ramen in Japan. But how is it possible with Muslims to enjoy? Sano Ramen which is a signature dish in Tochigi, north of Tokyo challenged it.

In this episode, we take a look at a ramen restaurant in Sano, Tochigi Prefecture and the journey of its owner and his family as they work together to produce ramen that is Halal-friendly.
Standard ramen is difficult for those of the Muslim faith to eat, as it contains pork, soy sauce, and other ingredients that they cannot have. Watch as owner Sato Yoshiyuki works together with those around him to create Sano’s first Halal-friendly ramen dishes.
