Donald Trump continues to ‘defend’ accepting plane gift from Qatar
Sky News host Caleb Bond says US President Donald Trump has again “defended” his decision to accept a plan worth hundreds of millions of dollars from Qatar to replace Air Force One.
Trump has received backlash for planning to accept a $400 million jet from the Qatari royal family since news of the gift broke earlier this week.
In a post to Truth Social, the President claimed the Boeing 747 is not a gift to him, but for the US Department of Defense and that “only a fool” would not accept it.
