Donald Trump ‘flipped everything’ for the Coalition’s election campaign
Former defence minister Joel Fitzgibbon argues US President Donald Trump played a significant role in the Coalition’s defeat in the federal election.
“Albanese went into the election in good shape, he’d done some good things in government … he campaigned magnificently, mistake free,” Mr Fitzgibbon said.
“But Peter Dutton went into this election capable of winning more seats than the government … Trump just flipped everything.”
