Donald Trump hosts top investors at White House
US President Donald Trump has hosted senior executives from top defence, tech and healthcare companies at the White House.
The ‘Investing in America’ event highlights big investments from major companies across a range of industries and is part of the President’s plan to bring manufacturing back to the US.
Among the business leaders was Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt, owner of the world’s largest packaging company.
The event took place against a backdrop of economic and recession concerns, as market uncertainty has made some companies cautious to invest in the US.
