US President Donald Trump has arrived in the Qatar capital Doha on the second leg of his Middle East trip, after concluding his visit in Saudi Arabia earlier on Wednesday. Qatar has been a key mediator in the Gaza conflict and Trump’s visit there is also being viewed as a critical moment towards achieving another yet elusive ceasefire in Gaza after UN’s top humanitarian official urged the Security Council yesterday to take action to prevent a genocide in the enclave.
