Easter road deaths drop nationwide
Transport Minister Barbara Creecy says over 111 motorists have been arrested since the start of the long weekend for offences including drinking and driving.
Briefing the media at Kranskop on the N1, Creecy highlighted that no fatalities were reported at the site during the Easter period.
She added that road fatalities and crashes have significantly declined across all provinces this Easter weekend.
