EFF welcomes suspension of VAT hike
The EFF has welcomed the decision of the Western Cape High Court to suspend the VAT hike.
During a media briefing in Johannesburg EFF leader Julius Malema called for the resignsation of Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana and National Treasury Director General Duncan Pieterse.
Malema urged the Business community to no longer trust these individuals and condemned the fact that businesses have had to spend billions on a VAT system that will not be implemented. He further said that the country now has the task of presenting a credible and applicable budget in July 2025.
