The University of Cape Town has played a pivotal role in developing an action plan to combat rising drug-resistant malaria in Africa.
This will assist all stakeholders, from governments to healthcare workers on the ground, to follow a workflow when confronted with drug-resistant malaria.
Malaria is one of the leading causes of death for children under five on the continent despite being preventable and curable.
