Election campaign housing policy promises could ‘well and truly force up’ costs
Sky News Political Contributor Chris Uhlmann discusses policies from both sides of the federal election campaign aimed at housing which could have a negative rising effect on prices overall.
“Looking at the policies we seem to have some demand-side fixes for supply-side problems when it comes to housing that could well and truly force up the cost of housing no matter who gets into government,” Mr Uhlmann said.
“We are heading towards a trillion dollars worth of debt now and no one seems to be concerned about that.”
