Energy key to getting Canada “back to serious negotiations with US," O’Toole says
Former Conservative Party of Canada Leader Erin O’Toole says energy will be the key in getting the Trump administration back to the negotiating table.
“Our big advantage with the U.S. is energy,” he told The West Block’s Mercedes Stephenson.
He said discussions over oil and gas, critical minerals and uranium, and decarbonizing the North American electricity grid will help reengage the U.S. in important talks amid U.S. President Donald Trump’s ongoing trade war.
