Energy supply in SA | W.Cape confident it'll be off Eskom grid by 2035
The Western Cape government says it is on track to have power supply independent from Eskom in the province by 2035.
Private sector companies are key to this endeavour with the end goal of securing 5700 MegaWatts to exceed demand.
A thousand MegaWatts of independent supply has been delivered, with another thousand in the pipeline.
