Eskom moves to allay fears of a dark winter
Electricity and Energy Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa says the country can anticipate lower-to-no load shedding this winter. He remains hopeful for a load-shedding-free winter despite current power cuts, citing increased grid capacity. The power utility has apportioned the blame partly to some of its Original Equipment Manufacturers for the current delays in returning units under maintenance back online.
