Eskom to implement Stage 2 load shedding
Eskom is expected to implement Stage 2 load shedding during the evening peak from 16:00 pm today until 22:00 pm on Thursday.
This is to manage limited generation capacity and ensure continued supply during working days.
The decision follows the delayed return of generation units amounting to 3120 MW as well as an additional loss of 1385 MW in the past 24 hours due to unplanned breakdowns.
