Extra $15.9m in drought support for Victorian farmers | ABC News
Farmers across some of Victoria’s drought-hit regions are set to receive a $15.9 million boost as the state government expands urgent financial support. The support package includes on-farm infrastructure grants and financial counselling for farmers in 13 local government areas in the west, central and southern parts of the state. It is an expansion of the government’s $13.5 million drought funding announced in September, which provided money for farmers in 11 council areas, mostly in south-west Victoria.
