Family accepts re-opening of Chief Albert Luthuli inquest
An inquest into the deaths of former ANC President-General Chief Albert Luthuli and Griffiths Mxenge will begin in the Pietermaritzburg High Court tomorrow. The Luthuli family has welcomed the inquest with a sense of relief and excitement. Both families have had a lingering sense of injustice following the 1967 inquest into the death of Chief Albert Luthuli and the 1983 inquest into the death of Griffiths Mxenge.
